Today was the first day of our competition. All teams have moved to the new Android platform, and this event was the first time we had used the new technology at a competition.

WARC, 2015-11-22
Sunday was a lot of fun, and a very typical FIRST day. Our morning in Beijing started by meeting with a Grade 8 student in Beijing who will be attending a Victoria high school next fall for Grade 9. He’s interested in joining the FIX IT team.

The FIX IT team is going to China!
FIX IT is delighted to announce, that we have been invited by China FIRST to be FIRST ambassadors at the World Robotics Conference (WRC) in Beijing, China, November 22–24.
At the Dominion Observatory Machine Shop
The FIX IT team visited the Machine Shop at the Dominion Observatory, which is part of the Herzberg Institute of Astrophysics. Herzberg has a long history of leading and participating in the development of cutting-edge astronomical instrumentation, including ground-based and space-based projects, for optical, near-infrared, millimetre and radio astronomy.
