We held a kickoff event in the lobby of the Engineering & Computer Science building, University of Victoria, for the new teams that have set up in Victoria.
We released the Velocity Vortex game, set up a field, and led workshop sessions for the new teams. All the Victoria FTC teams are in their rookie year so we are trying to help them out. Our workshops covered the electronics kits, the Engineering Notebook, Strategy and Mentoring.
We would like to say a big thank you to the Faculty of Engineering for letting us use their space and Science Venture for helping with the AV.
We look forward to an exciting year of local competitions.
