You are invited….

to an information afternoon about FIRST Robotics and how a school might go about putting together a team for FIRST Tech Challenge.

FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is one program of the FIRST Robotics organization. FTC high school teams design, build, and program robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. The robot kit is reusable from year-to-year and is programmed in Java using Android phones to control the robots.

The goal of this meeting is to inform students and teachers/adult mentors who are interested in learning more about this organization and what starting a team could be like. There is an FTC team in Victoria who will share their experiences with you, including a demonstration of their current competition robot.

  • When:  Saturday, March 5, 2016  from 1:00 to 3:00pm
  • Where: Pacific School of Innovation & Inquiry, 100-808 Douglas St., Victoria BC

Please share this invitation with high school teachers, parents or companies you think might be interested.  Thanks.
