When we finally got to MIT, we were given the final track. It was huge
and took up an entire ice rink!
The race course required all the skills we built throughout the summer, having many components needing open CV, and we decided to use ROS to connect and create nodes, notably our safety controller. Our matches went well, finally, and there were no major connection issues. At our last few events, there were many issues that would pop up during competitions. These three days at Super Regionals were relatively good in that aspect.
Friday was the opening day of the FIRST Tech Challenge West Super Regional Tournament in Spokane Washington. http://ftcwest.org/

The British Columbia FTC Championships were held at St. Michaels University School in Victoria on Feb. 17, 2018. It was really nice having a competition that we didn’t have to travel to! We even got to play a match with our new team 13724 BUILD IT.

Washington state was an amazing event! It was a huge competition held in the Showare Center in Kent, with a ton of great people, amazing robots and energy across the entire event. FIX IT is publishing our FTC engineering notebook as it was submitted to the Judges when we were nominated for THINK and we won INSPIRE at the Houston FIRST Championship in April 2017.
